Please email your image file to: miriam@risingdove.com with "IMAGE" (all capitals, no quotation marks) as your subject line. In the body of your email, put your name, the title of your work, medium, and dimensions (height times width), in this format:
 
"On the Red Cloth"     oil on canvas     24" x 30"
 
(Sculptors put height x width x depth.)
 
Attach your image file as TIF, PNG, or JPG. JPG is best, but do not compress your files by a factor of more than 15. If bitmaps are your only option, please zip the files. You can order WinZip software here:

The WinZip "wizard" is very easy to use; it takes you through the process step by step.
 
The ideal width for a horizontal image is 600 pixels. The ideal height for a vertical or square image is 550 pixles; width should be between 550 and 1200 pixels. If your image includes the frame, send a slightly larger image to allow for cropping.
 
I can resize your images, but if they are much too big or too small, the quality will not be ideal.
